2 steps to make sure your tires are winter ready.

1st-make sure you have plenty of tread. You should see grooves. If there are no grooves then your tire cannot grip the road in wet, icy, or cold conditions.

2nd-make sure the tire pressure is set to the recommended pressure on the door placard. Tire pressure serves many purposes. It provides the longest tread wear. Provides the least stress on the sidewall. Finally, correct contact patch/surface for your vehicle.
